Feehan recalled his days of training to be a U.S. Army Ranger, standing in the rain with another soldier after a particularly demoralizing stretch of misery. The other soldier said the key to enduring was to always decide to “quit tomorrow.” And the next day, make the same decision again to “quit tomorrow.” So, until the election is decided, Feehan said, DFL volunteers should keep deciding to wait until tomorrow to rest: “That’s how we’re going to get there, folks.”
